- Aqua Yoga
Aqua-Yoga is a fun and effective exercise that offers traditional Yoga practice in the water. Exercising in the water is a great way to achieve five times the result comparing to exercising on dry land and reducing considerable stress on the joints.
Due to water’s buoyancy you feel 90% lighter in the water, yet resistance of water against your muscles adds toning benefits and greater calorie burn. You are also aided by water for postures that are difficult to achieve on dry land. The cool, soothing water also enable you to comfortably and safely challenge yourself – more so than you can on dry land.
Aqua-Yoga is highly recommended for expecting moms, new moms and those with arthritis, back problem, with knee conditions or foot/leg injuries.
