Aqua-Yoga

Discover Aqua-Yoga

 Aqua-Yoga is a fun and effective exercise that offers traditional Yoga practice in the water.  Exercising in the water is a great way to achieve five times the result comparing to exercising on dry land and reducing considerable stress on the joints.  Due to water’s buoyancy you feel 90 percent lighter in the water, yet resistance of water against your muscles adds toning benefits and greater calorie burn.  You are also aided by water for postures that are difficult to achieve on dry land.  The cool, soothing water also enable you to comfortably and safely challenge yourself – more so than you can on dry land.

Aqua-Yoga is highly recommended for expecting moms, new moms and those with arthritis, back problem, with knee conditions or foot/leg injuries.

Sivananda Yoga

Sivananda yoga, after teachings of Swami Sivananda, is a non-proprietary form of hatha yoga in which the training focuses on preserving the health and wellness of the practitioner.  The Sivananda training system aims to retain the vitality of the body and decrease chance of disease, by simply and naturally cultivating the body.

Ashtanga Yoga

This method of yoga includes synchronizing the breath with a series of postures producing an intense internal heat that detoxifies muscles and organs.  The result is improved circulation, a strong body and a calm mind.

Dynamic Yoga

A series of powerful postures and practices of Vjjayi breathing in this Yoga awakens Fire in the body. It is good for those who want to reduce body fat, high blood cholesterol, make the body strong and powerful. This practice allows you to challenge yourself.

Abdo-Pilates

Pilates – named after its creator, Joseph H. Pilates, was developed in the early 20th century – is a combination of ancient wisdom and contemporary knowledge. Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. Pilates is a physical therapy that works on different muscles to tone and condition the body. Pilates helps to develop correct breathing technique, good posture, better concentration and focus.  Abdo-Pilates focuses on core strengthening.

Zumba

Zumba is a Latin dance-inspired fitness program created by dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez in Colombia during the 1990s. Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba Fitness blends red-hot international music, and contagious steps to form a “fitness-party” that is downright addictive.

Belly Dance

Belly Dance is a Western name for an dance developed in the Middle East. Some American devotees refer to it simply as “Middle Eastern Dance”.

Belly Dance is a fantastic fun way to get fit, lose weight and shape up. It can improve coordination, balance, muscle tone and posture.

Belly Dance tones your abs and you can literally shimmy off the fat. Belly dancing can significantly reduce stress.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is at the origin of all the other styles of yoga. Hatha Yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely.
